Will you keep Rocky when you go back to Ireland, or will he stay in Australia? Watching Khal round that 1.40 made me tear up! I can only imagine how amazing it must feel to be jumping that on a horse that's totally home bred and home produced! He's such legend. Would love an update on Kadie and her foal when the foal comes if possible - even just a photo.
Holly lovely to see you again. I got sick early July and I’m just beginning to feel normal again. I just did not have the energy to watch any video or FB. It must be hard for you to leave your amazing horses at home. I know how much I miss home. I hope you have a wonderful season in Australia.
I know this is kind of random, but if you want to do a video about doing vet work, you can use my horse, especially as I'm thinking about getting her in foal. I clapped when I saw Rocky!!! What excellent rounds on Khal. Hope you enjoy your time in Australia!!!
Khal was epic!! look at those knees!!! Way to go Holly! you both looked like you loved it!! just curious is the veterinary profession as stretched thin there as here in North America? So exciting Holly, you deserve it all! Will you be potentially moving the horses to France for next summer?
I got goosebumps and teary eyed from watching your rounds with Khal, Holly! What an amazing journey this has been for you <3 So well deserved, and thank you so much for sharing with us for all these years! Can't wait to watch Wiggy and Flo in the following years. Khal did a good job, he's a realy tophorse. But you posted this video on 12/9/22 and i saw many dates in the ring from this competition with 15/9/22.?
I don't understand that a GP horse can stay 6 months without his rider, because of the bond that you as rider have with your horse. Or the person who take care for your horses now, also take care when you're in ireland? I think that a GP horse need his training to stay in condition. And why you don't take your horses with you, are'nt there also competitions?
Lovely Rounds. Great way to end the Season. You should stop using the word Dressage. Khal is jumping 120+ tracks with ease because of his rideabilty = flatwork = Dressage. You have a typical Irish phobia to the word. Why do you slap the horses so hard after jumping a round? I understand you're happy but it doesn't look very positive for the horses.
Khal is such a superstar. What a gift to be able to follow his and your journey in life. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. Holly, you spent too much time with Meg the Egg, what have you done with Rocky’s forelock. Ouhhhh i can’t wait to find out where you’re going next with your horses! My guess is with another Irish YT/Grand Prix rider ;)
Considering you said something about the big surprise when you visited Lauren this year, I have a hunch perhaps you and the horses will be joining them there? But we’ll have to wait and see!! Lovely to see you back Holly. So gutted that the show next weekend is postponed :/ (im pretty sure you were going to the same one as me). hoping to see you and rocky out and about when the ground gets drier!
Holy crap, I can't believe how you must feel after that 1.40 class with Khal. I saw that white rainbow jump and thought jesus christ she has to jump that - and then it was the first fence!!! And you two crushed the rest. As someone who's been watching you for years it's just so wonderful to see your success, and all the fantastic adventures you're getting the opportunity to have. You're living the dream for many of us, thank you for sharing!
Beautiful Khal! He seemed to fly over the 1.40 with ease, how exciting! He's such a winner. Was very glad to see another video this morning, I have been wondering what was happening and where you were.. and very happy to see you are back here in Australia .. does this mean we have to wait til February to hear your news? Augh! LOL fingers crossed it all works out for you, even though I have no idea what you're talking about yet.
I always love seeing the boys jump those blue and white poles at Mullingar. It reminds me of your old profile pic with Welbeck. It's unreal how much Khal has progressed. You are always so modest, you have grown so much and have produced your horses beautifully. you are so knowledgeable and I love to see how much you have improved as i have followed you from the beginning. Have a great time in Aus!
Welcome home again..I'm sure I'm speaking for alot of Aussies but we miss you and also the show jumping that Europe has.. everything here is so far to travel. Nice to know we have you for a couple of years yet! Couldn't NZ be shifted off Ireland too? I would adopt the young (and older!) Irishers that I've met too. Never had so much fun in my life!
Welcome back after the great jumping feat and the big news in motion! What an exciting life in both countries and now beyond! Cheers from Canada. Khal was absolutely amazing!! Great riding! I'm betting you're taking the boys to France in the spring. ;D Have fun down under! So good to see Rocky again!
Is this your 3rd year in Australia? I remember your first ever year and you had to isolate for 2 weeks in a hotel! Crazy how quick times goes. I'm so happy for you Holly, that everything is working out for you! :) I don't own a horse, I don't ride. You are literally the only horse related content I watch because you are so lovely and funny! :) You should be so proud of what you have done with Khal!!! Like he is amazing and you have produced such an amazing horse! I hope that you are so so proud of that!!
