Breaking: Byd Electric Car Atto 3 featuring the BYD Blade Battery - Price and Specifications Announcement | Highlights from Sydney Experience Centre Launch Event! | Tesla Tom | Ludicrous Feed.
Regardless how good these evs are there will always be the ones saying never buy Chinese , won’t last, my question is driving from Sydney to QLD with 4 on board, roof rack and a Surf rescue board in top (Mal) how will they go with distance and charging. As it’s only around 7hrs drive we do this in 1 day with maybe 2stops. Will these do it. I’d love to do it. Does weather effect range with lights and other items on.
Its good to see Chinese firm investing in Australia and the warm reception and putting politics aside . Chinese innvocation and technology has grown by leaps and bounds and surely a good bet and value for money.
Two things concern me about byd, 1. With the Chinese government Sabre rattling about Taiwan what happens if China gets sanctions like Russia? 2. Service locations. Where I live the nearest service centre is over two hours drive away from me. Are the service centre company planning on expanding?
The amazing thing BYD did in there cars is that their infotainment system is an Android OS! Making the screen an open world for the owner. So anyone can download the favorite app without restrictions! Not like other car brands have their own OS that no one can benefit from it! Even the Android Auto is so bad. So adding Android OS to the infotainment screen is genius! & will be even better if they update it to the HarmonyOS!
It looks like EV's are on a 1000-day (3 year) "cycle" (or "era") ~ with 'era 1' being January 2017 - December 2019 ; 'era 2' being January 2020 - December 2022 ; and 'era 3' being "January 2023 - December 2025" ; then 'era 4' being January 2026 - December 2028. The era 1 was the quietest (not many EV's on the road, EV car share/stockmarket company prices were low), era 2 things picked up a bit, but era 3 things will probably go ballistic and exponential. You can notice the big changes in your past videos how there was not much interest in EV's then slight interest and now quite a bit of interest but still not a huge amount, but January 2023 onwards things will probably change in Australia and other countries
